Monday 15 December
A deputation headed to Lodge St. Servanus No. 771, just 48 hours after our Secretary and Substitute Master Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC was installed into its Chair of King Solomon. Our RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw led in a 30-strong deputation, 19 of which were 312. There we conferred an exemplification of the Entered Apprentice degree on a good friend of 312, Lodge Stirling Royal Arch’s Bro. Alex McEwan. And with us was our latest Entered Apprentice Bro. Frederick O. Tabiri.
Afterward the hospitality, conversation and banter went on till the late hours.
Tuesday 16 December
Following on from the previous evening’s success our RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw led 17 of our brethren in a total deputation of 28 to Lodge Ancient Stirling No. 30. There we witnessed the initiation of Bannockburn lad Bro Kenny Govan. His ceremony was enhanced by his father, Kenny Snr delivering the apron charge – his first piece of floor work.
At the evening’s conclusion Bro. Shaw secured the Travelling Gavel, having been out of our possession for four whole days!
Wednesday 17 December
Today was the funeral of Past Master Bro. Andrew McLeary. Bro. McLeary was a great servant and contributor to the Lodge and was our master 1981-1982. Attending from the Lodge were: RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw, SM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC, RWM No. 771, WSW Bro. Derek A. Robertson, Bro. Kevin Moffat Snr. SWD, Bro. Gerrard D. Dawson PM, Bro. Martin B. H. Gray and Bro. Sandy Renton MM.
In the evening, RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw and our latest apprentice Bro. Frederick O. Tabiri attended Lodge Clackmannan No. 1303 and witnessed the Entered Apprentice degree.
Thursday 18 December
Bro. Ross Hardie PM was again installed as Right Worshipful Master at Lodge Dolphin No. 911. Attending from the Lodge were RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw, WSW Bro. Derek A. Robertson and Jeweller Bro. Fraser Stevenson. On Provincial duty were DoC Bro. David Stevenson PM, DSC and Bro. Duncan McKinnon PM.
Saturday 20 December
Attending the Installation of RWM Bro. Dax Levey at Lodge Abercromby No. 531 were RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw, WSW Bro. Derek A. Robertson and Bro. Michael J. Gray PM. On Provincial duty was Bro. Duncan McKinnon.
Also today the Lodge was represented at the Annual Installation of Lodge St. John Carluke No. 187 in the Province of Lanarkshire Upper Ward. They have a relationship with Lodge St. Servanus No. 771 were, our SM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC is now the Master. Our DoC Bro. David Stevenson PM, DSC and Honorary Member James T. Andrew PM were there in support.
And in the evening WSW Bro. Derek A. Robertson and his wife, Jane, attended a social Night at Lodge Polmont No. 793. The duo providing the entertainment included their Bro. Jeweller Sam Alston. Great wee night with the Polmont Brethren.
