Cameron nets fishing shield for the ‘Burn

One of 312’s latest Master Masons won the Provincial fishing tournament’s prize for the biggest fish at the 7 June 2025 event.

Cameron represented the Lodge at the competition held at Linlithgow Loch and shared a boat with Robert Hunter of Lodge Clackmannan No. 1303.  Cameron said, “It was a great day.  I lost more than I caught and our boat was miles off the lead.”  The most fish caught (where you are allowed to keep four) was won by Lodge Ladywell No. 1474 represented by John Scott and Ian Taylor.

Cameron’s winning rainbow trout of some 5lb 8oz won the biggest fish silverware.  For that he won the shield and a bottle of Jura.  The shield will have pride of place in the Lodge for the next year.

Congratulations to Cameron.  This is Cameron’s second recent success.  In May he raised £1500 for Strathcarron in a charity boxing event.  An endeavour that required months of dedication and training.

Well done Cameron.
