On Tuesday 1 July 2025, RWM Bo. Richard A. Kerry headed a marvellous deputation of 40 to Lodge Caldercruix St. John No. 1314 in the Province of Lanarkshire Middle Ward. Our numbers were enhanced by six Reigning Masters and brethren from Sister Lodges.
A total of 111 brethren attended as RWM Bro. Henry Dunbar welcomed us into their temporary home in the Broomknoll Street Temple, Airdrie.
Once the introductions were complete the RWM presented 1314’s Bro William Murray PM DM with a gift voucher and card on behalf of the Lodge in recognition of his recent award of HPGR.
We then conferred an exemplification of the FC degree on volunteer 1314 candidate Bro A Kerr Bible Bearer. RWM Bro. Henry Dunbar described it as an excellent degree after which he presented our RWM with a friendship pennant. Once the labours of the evening were complete, all brethren retired to enjoy the usual 1314 harmony.
And so the masonic bonds between our two lodges were further cemented including the now mandatory clarion call “We have the name and they have the number!”
