RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw hosted the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire’s meeting on 27 January 2026. The result of which included a charity donation.
The Provincial’s lucky draw generates funds for good causes. At the end of the Quarterly Communication, Bro. William (Billy) Reid PSPGW presented the Lodge with a cheque for £300. Our Lodge made a donation raising the total to £400. The RWM decided it should go to local good cause Town Break Dementia Support. They deliver essential social support that nurtures the emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of people living with dementia — and the unpaid carers who support them
So on Thursday 19 February our Master and Bro. Reid went along to the Bannockburn meeting. It’s in the hub just 200 yards from the Lodge. There they met the folks engaged in activities and presented the cheque to Anne Goodman, Service Co-ordinator. We asked for the donation to be used in Bannockburn and it looks like it will cover their costs including tea, coffees and biscuits for some time to come.
