Tonight, 20 April 2026, RWM Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw led another deputation, this time of nine, to support our Substitute Master and Secretary Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC.
Bro. Campbell, who is RWM of Lodge St. Servanus No. 771, had a unique evening, hence a deputation of 24 from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire were in attendance.
The reason . . . seven Alva brethren were being awarded service diplomas totally 370-years.
50-year diplomas:

Bro. Campbell gave a an excellent and personalised summary of each brother’s masonic experience. Therafter with the assistance of RWPGM Bro. Stewart Stirling presented them with their diplomas and jewels
Unsurprisingly, each brother in their acceptance remarks could recount how their masonic journeys were often together or following one another.
It’s extremely unlikely that there will be a similar event in freemasonry never mind the Province of Stirlingshire so it was a joy for 312 to be represented.
