Saturday 6 July saw another famous 312 social event at nearby Bridge of Allan.
Some 17 folk from 18 to 70-somethings, masons and friends, gathered at 11am in the lodge for breakfast rolls and first tighter before visiting the Allanwater Brew House.
At 2pm the educational and tasting tour began. It involved meeting the head brewer, learning the brewing process and checking out the flavours behind their beers. After generous samples of cask-conditioned beers, craft kegs and ciders, our revellers chose their favourite to enjoy a full pint.
There then followed a steak and ale pie meal before transport arrived and the lads moved on to other things . . .
