A total of nine of us attended the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire’s visit to Lodge Clackmannan No. 1303 and there witnessed a mock Fellowcraft Degree.
RWM Bro. Richard A. Kerry, Depute Master Bro. John Whitfield, Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw, Senior Warden, Bro. Derek A. Robertson Junior Warden, Bro. Billy Logan, Inner Guard and Bro. Kevin Moffat Snr. Sword Bearer represented the Lodge. On Provincial duties were IPM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC, the Brother Treasurer Clint W. Swan PM, DSC and Bro. Duncan McKinnon PM.
At the meeting’s end our RWM gave fraternal greetings from all the visitors.

On this evening at Lodge Dolphin No. 911, 100-years of service to the Lodge was honoured.
In a presentation attended by 12 members of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire, two brothers (and brothers) Andy and Robert McKay received 50-year diplomas.
Lodge Cumbernauld No. 199 from the Province of Dunbartonshire led by RWM Bro. Joe Scott then conferred a mock Fellowcraft degree on a last-minute stand-in candidate. The degree work included a version of the Tracing Board lecture that included props of the five orders of architecture and seven liberal arts and sciences with an interesting description of each.

On this evening two brothers were conferred Honorary Membership of Lodge Tulliallan No. 598.
In a presentation attended by members of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire, Bro. Ronnie Hay PM and Bro. Michael Empson PM both of Lodge Ladywell No. 1474 received honorary memberships. Both brothers are good friends of the 312 brethren and we send them both our congratulations.
Attending from our lodge were IPM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC, Bro. Kenneth R. Shaw, Senior Warden, Bro. Jack Stevenson Director of Music. On Provincial duty was Brother Treasurer Clint W. Swan PM, DSC.

Tonight IPM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC, Brother Treasurer Clint W. Swan PM, DSC, Substitute Master Bro. David Stevenson PM, DSC and Bro. James T. Andrew PM No. 76, Honorary Member of 312 and Bro. Robert Carruthers Pm No. 1474 Honorary member of 312, joined the deputation of Lodge St. John Tulliallan No. 598 to Lodge St James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No. 135 in the Province of Ayrshire
For the Fellowcraft Degree, our IPM stood in as Senior Warden, our Substitute Master as Junior Warden and Bro. Carruthers Director of Ceremonies. Bro. James T. Andrew delivered the Final Charge.
Past Master Stevenson reported, “A good night was had by all.” He encourages all at 312 to add a visit to Lodge Trabolton No. 135 to their visiting list.

Saturday 4 October
Today marked the 75th anniversary of Lodge Camelon No. 1456. In a day that saw the Rededication and Installation ceremonies, our Lodge was represented by Bro. Derek A. Robertson, Junior Warden with IPM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC, Brother Treasurer Clint W. Swan PM, DSC, Bro. Duncan McKinnon PM and Bro. James T. Andrew PM, Honorary Member of 312 on Provincial duties.
The Installation, held at the premises of Lodge St. Andrew (Denny & Loanhead) No. 176 was led by Installing Master Bro. Graeme Russell PM. He included all the Lodge’s Past Masters in the Installation Ritual for RWM Bro. Harry Proctor.
The ceremony of Rededication was led by Provincial Grand Master of Stirlingshire Bro. Stuart Stirling (Honorary Member of 312) in his first such ceremony. Our Bro. Treasurer Clint W. Swan PM, DSC, performed excellently as DoC managing the main players through the ceremony’s choreography.
Later, the festival of St. John included professional accordion player Bro. John Morgan of Lodge Lord Bruce No. 1601, in the Province of Linlithgowshire. No wonder he is called “The Wizard of the Box”.
