Monday 22 September
A total of eight of us attended the Provincial Visit to Lodge Stirling Royal Arch No. 76 and there we witnessed a Fellowcraft degree.
RWM Bro. Richard A. Kerry, Depute Master Bro. John Whitfield, Bro. Derek A. Robertson Junior Warden and Bro. David Greer represented the Lodge. On Provincial duties were IPM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC, Substitute Master Bro. David Stevenson PM, DSC, the Brother Treasurer Clint W. Swan PM, DSC and Bro. Duncan McKinnon PM.
Some 28 members of Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire attended making it a busy evening.
Tuesday 23 September
On this evening Bro. Ronnie Hay PM, Honorary Member 312 was honoured at Lodge Ladywell No. 1474.
Bro. Hay received a jewel provided by the Province of Stirlingshire’s Secretaries. This was to acknowledge and thank Bro. Hay for his achievements as Past Grand Secretary over the last 5-years. Colleague Secretary, Bro. Graeme Russell PM of Lodge Camelon No. 1456 gave a presentation speech from the East before investing Bro. Hay with his medal.
Our Secretary IPM Bro. Thomas J. Campbell PM, DSC, added to the congratulatory remarks at the end of the Fellowcraft degree meeting. Joining him on the visit were Substitute Master Bro. David Stevenson PM, DSC, Bro. Derek A. Robertson Junior Warden, Bro. Fraser Stevenson, Bro. James T. Andrew PM Honorary Member 312 and Bro. Alex McEwen No. 76. Wednesday 24 September
Our Wardens, Bros. Kenneth R. Shaw and Bro. Derek A. Robertson attended Lodge Polmont No. 973 and witnessed a fine Entered Apprentice degree.
The Bro. Secretary read a ‘Thank you letter’ from Bro. Robertson’s daughter in which she thanked the late Bro. Bennie’s family for the wheelchair.
During the harmony Bro. Bennie’s daughter, Angela, confirmed a £900 donation to Walking the Province for Prostate Scotland for which Bro. Robertson thanked her most sincerely.
